Do you want to be in my gang?

Monty Python's Life of Brian satirised the sectarianism of fringe political movements.

In the film, the secretive members of the the People's Front of Judea admitted that if there was one group it hated more than the Romans, it was the Judean People's Front … and as for the Judean Popular People's Front! Splitters!

Of course, psychotherapy isn't like that. There are no doubt lots of legitimate reasons why there is such a baffling array of organisations that represent the many different modes of psychotherapy.
